🏀 Get Ready for the 2026-2027 Youth Basketball Season! 🏀
We are busy finalizing a few last details for the upcoming season, but we wanted to give all parents, players, and volunteers a quick heads-up on what’s heading your way this week:
💻 Player Registration Information - REGISTRATION WILL BE DUE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH.
Online Registration: We expect our online registration form to go live by the end of this week! Registration will be availabe HERE.
Paper Forms: Keep an eye out! Physical registration forms are scheduled to be sent home with students by the end of the week of September 7th.
📢 Calling All Coaches & Volunteers (We Need You!)
Our league completely relies on the support of parents and volunteers to coach our teams. If you are planning to coach, or even considering stepping up to help out this year, please mark your calendars for the Mandatory Coaches Meeting:
📅 Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2026
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location: High School Media Center
During the meeting the school will be reviewing facilities rules and expectation. They will also be assigning practice schedules and locations at that time. It is crucial that all potential coaches attend so we can lock in these details and get the season moving smoothly.

🍽️ The Neighborhood Table is continuing through the rest of the year!
While the outdoor farmer's market season is coming to a close, our free monthly community meal isn't stopping. To keep everyone warm and fed through the fall and winter, we are moving to our new indoor home.
Starting this month, join us at the Heritage Town Center!
Here is what you need to know:
📅 When: Sundays - September 27th, October 18th, November 15th, and December 20th from 4-6pm

TREATS ON THE STREETS
Get your costumes ready and bring the whole family down to Main Street in Buffalo Center for an evening full of community fun, delicious food, and plenty of tricks and treats! Immediately following the Main Street festivities, be sure to head over to Timely Mission Nursing Home. The residents love seeing all the creative costumes, and they cannot wait to trick-or-treat with the kids!
Want to host a Treat Stop?
We are looking for local businesses, organizations, and individuals to help make this night unforgettable! You do not need to own a storefront on Main Street to participate. Trunks, tents, and folding tables are all welcome! If you would like to set up a stop and hand out treats or host an activity, please send us a Facebook message or leave a comment below so we can add you to the list.
