YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION:
Registration forms were sent home with students on September 11th. If you did not see one, the form is available HERE. Alternatively, you may fill out the registration form online HERE. Please fill out either the online form or the paper form, not both. A confirmation email will be sent once we receive your registration. An email will be sent to each team after the registration due date which is Friday September 25th. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR REGISTRATION AND REGISTRATION FEE ($20) BY FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH.
New for 2026-27 all registrations will need to include at $20 fee. Scholarships are available. Registration fee is payable by cash/check (made payable to North Iowa Betterment) and may be mailed or dropped off at:

VOLUNTEER COACHES & MANDATORY COACH MEETING:
Our league completely relies on the support of parents and volunteers to coach our teams. Coaches will set up practice schedules and be the main contact for each team. If you are planning to coach, or even considering stepping up to help out this year, please mark your calendars for the Mandatory Coaches Meeting:

During the meeting the school will be reviewing facilities rules and expectation. They will also be assigning practice schedules and locations at that time. It is crucial that all potential coaches attend so we can lock in these details and get the season moving smoothly.
TOURNAMENTS:
Due to a lack of volunteer support, we are unfortunately unable to host our home basketball tournament for the 2026-2027 season. We want to thank everyone who has dedicated time and effort to this event in the past. We remain fully open to bringing the tournament back if a group or organization is willing to step up and take the lead or assist on managing it. If we secure the necessary volunteer commitments to make the event possible, we will immediately update our plans and share the news with the community. Please read the letter HERE that explains this decision and how it will impact the 2026-2027 season.
NIB will continue to pay for three other area tournamaents and will provide jerseys for each team. Coaches must submit an email to [email protected] with a list of tournament names/locations and entry fee amounts to be reimbursed.
